BAE Systems in £183m bid for Norkom
Global defence and security company BAE Systems has made a €217m (£183m) swoop for Norkom, which comes up with systems to combat financial crime.
The boards of the two companies have agreed the terms and the offer will now be considered by sharehoders.
BAE chief executive Ian King said: “Countering financial crime is a priority for governments and financial institutions.
“This will result in a significantly enhanced offering for customers and present an opportunity for accelerated growth for the BAE Systems Group in the fast growing cyber and intelligence services sector.”
