BOB TARZEY | QUOCIRCA

“The Budget didn’t address the country’s problems. It did not tackle the national debt or the Budget deficit and frankly, it all seems like a bunch of smoke and mirrors. We’re still borrowing and still increasing our borrowing which is not good for the country.”

DAN RUSSON | XCEED CONSULTANT SERVICES

“The Budget looks quite good for small businesses, which we are. It was also fairly positive for the financial sector in the decision to support banks. What I find worrying is how they say they are saving money now. Why did they spend the money in the first place?”

MICHAEL CHURCHMAN | CATLIN GROUP

“Overall, I would say the Budget did nothing for me. To name a few things, the fuel duty is going up and there was no change to income tax allowance. If anything, the present conditions are going to stay the same.”

STEPHEN ANDREWS | RK HARRISON

“As a smoker, the Budget definitely wasn’t good for me. I don’t think it achieved much, especially with our country being billions of pounds in debt. Nothing really stuck out as positive to me and overall it all seems the same.”
