THE HOERENGRACHT COLLECTIONThe Hoerengracht by American artists Ed and Nancy Kienholz has transformed the National Gallery’s Sunley Room into a walk-through evocation of Amsterdam’s Red Light District. Featuring a recreation of Amsterdam’s claustrophobic streets, the collection explores a theme of grim sociology that has been investigated by artists over many centuries.
