TOM WRIGGLESWORTH IN SOHOComedian Tom Wrigglesworth made newspaper headlines after his attempts to help out a pensioner being ill-treated by a train guard resulted in him being reported to the police. Like any comedian worth his salt, Wrigglesworth used this as a starting point for a cracking comedy, which became one of the hottest tickets at this summer’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The play tells the true story of a group of miners in 1930s Northumberland, who hired a professor to teach them an art appreciation evening class, and ended up wowing the art world themselves.
