THE HABIT OF ARTAlan Bennet’s last play for the National Theatre, The History Boys, became an international phenomenon and film. With Richard Griffiths once again in the starring role, similar things will be expected from The Habit of Art. It imagines a meeting between Benjamin Britten (Alex Jennings) and W H Auden (Griffiths), in what should be a highly entertaining look ageing and creative passion. Until 24 Jan, National Theatre, Southbank. Tickets £10-42 from www.nationaltheatre.co.ukGRAHAM COXON LIVENow that the triumphant Blur reunion is done and dusted, it’s back to solo work for guitarist Graham Coxon. He’ll be taking to the Barbican stage with help from guests including Robyn Hitchcock and folk musician Martin Carthy.  28 November, Barbican Hall, Barbican Centre, Silk Street. Tickets £12.50-20 from www.barbican.org.ukPOP LIFE AT TATE MODERNIncluding works by Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Takashi Murakami Andy Warhol and a whole host of others, Tate Modern’s show looks at art’s response to consumerism since the 1970s. Unsurprisingly, there’s an awful lot of tabloid-baiting nudity on display. Until 17 Jan, Tate Modern, Bankside. www.tate.org.uk
