Gap
The US retailer has announced that it will combine its international operations into one London-based division, to be led by Stephen Sunnucks, the new president, international of Gap Inc. Since joining the company five years ago, Sunnucks has guided the growth of Gap and Banana Republic in Europe. Gap has also appointed John Ermatinger, currently president of Gap Inc’s Asia Pacific region, to a new role establishing Old Navy International.
Commerzbank
Commerzbank Corporates and Markets has hired Andrew Readinger as global head of financial institution sales, based in London, and promoted Thomas Deppe to global head of corporate sales, based in Frankfurt.
Ashcourt Rowan
The wealth management firm has appointed Steve Daykin and Chris Johnson as regional managers. Both were formerly area sales managers at Co-Operative Bank Independent Financial Advisers until its acquisition by Ashcourt Rowan last year.
Stadia Trustees
The SIPP and alternative investment specialist has appointed Jason Burman as head of SIPP operations. Burman joins from Suffolk Life, where he was head of client reporting.
KPMG
Mike Linter, who has been a partner at KPMG since 2000, has been appointed as national head of the People Services Tax division. In addition, Marc Burrows, tax partner at KPMG in Switzerland, joins the UK firm to run the International Executive Services practice; Angus Menzies joins as a director from McGrigors to lead a new employment law team; and Chris Hogan joins from KPMG in the US as a director in the International Executive Services practice.
Panmure Gordon
The stockbroker has appointed Philip Tansey to the board as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, effective from 24 May. Tansey joins from BCG Partners.
F&C Asset Management
The investment management group has appointed Nabil Owadally as a derivatives fund manager. Owadally joins from Towers Watson.
