US sees ADP employment increase fail to meet expectations in May

ADP employment change, a measure of private sector employment, has missed expectations in May, with the private sector creating 135,000 jobs in the month. Economists had expected an increase of 165,000.

Last month's number was revised lower from +119,000 to +113,000.

Markets have been waiting for the non-farm payroll number all day, as taper talk rumbles on, but the ADP employment change number always attracts some attention.
