Japan's Abe plans seminars to explain his economic policy

The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has announced a series of seminars to explain his economic policy. Since coming to power, Abe has unveiled his "Three Arrows" of radical monetary easing, fiscal stimulus, and supply side reforms.

Much confusion remains about the governmen't seconomic measures, despite frequent policy statements. In recent weeks Japan's Nikkei 225 has seen much of this year's gains wiped out.

While Abe has an explicit target of achieving two per cent inflation (Japan has rarely seen much inflation, if any) it has been said that expansionary policies may be wound down if other economic indicators improve.

Abe will be at London's Guildhall on Wednesday to discuss Japan's economic policy following the G8 summit.
