Fed's Yellen supports further quantiative easing

Janet Yellen, vice chair of the Federal Reserve System was today supportive of further monetary activism, saying in a speech (transcript) that:

Turning to the potential costs of the Federal Reserve's asset purchases, there are some that definitely need to be monitored over time. At this stage, I do not see any that would cause me to advocate a curtailment of our purchase program.

Yellen is considered to be to the left of the Fed, and these dovish comments were expected and as such markets did not react strongly.
