New Bank of England governor Mark Carney has taken the central line to his job, according to Justin Urquhart Stewart (director and cofounder of 7 Investment Management).

But one sharp Tweeter has noted that Carney's pay package includes a paid for chauffeur (as well as other extras, private health and dental insurance are included):

Carney may have left a good impression on his first day, but it looks like this may be an exception. He's the first foreign national to ever take the top job at the central bank, and will be keen to show from the off that he'll be able to rise to the demands of the role.
