ASOS quarterly results show retail sales up 45 per cent

Fashion retailer ASOS has released its quarterly results for the three months ended 31 May 2013 (release).

Retail sales are up 45 per cent year-on-year (UK up 39 per cent, international up 48 per cent).

Chief executive Nick Robinson commented:

I am pleased to report another strong trading period for the three months to 31 May 2013 with total retail sales up 45% to £194m....

We remain positive in our outlook for the year to 31 August 2013 and expect our full year results to be in line with expectations.

City AM reported yesterday that ASOS will miss out on joining the FTSE 100 as it's still listed on Aim.
