Online mega retailer Amazon has announced that it has located a new office in central London. Opposite Smithfield Market, the firm will occupy 12 floors at 60 Holborn Viaduct, totalling 210,000 square feet.
Amazon expects hundreds of employees to be located at the site by the end of 2013, with a total staff of 1,600 when the building is full complete.

Amazon has over 6,000 permanent employees in the UK and we will continue to create thousands of jobs in the coming years across the UK. We look forward to drawing from the capital’s strong pool of talent as we continue to innovate and enhance our service for the benefit of all our customers.”
