Tesco revamps Tesco Finest in bid to boost sales

Tesco has announced its plans to improve its Tesco Finest food line.

Just days after announcing a pretax profit slump of 23.5 per cent in the first half of 2013, the supermarket giant has said the new food lines will include 400 new products with three-quarters of the current 'Finest' products being new or improved.

The makeover, which began with new packaging last month, comes as the company strives to better its profile and the perception of quality of its food amongst shoppers.

More than 200 products within the label, which brings in £1.4bn in revenue, will, however, remain the same.
