Zynga boss on track for $50m pay

Don Mattrick, the incoming chief executive of online games firm Zynga, will receive a hefty, stock-based compensation package of about $50m (£32.7m) in coming years, the company said yesterday. Mattrick, currently head of Microsoft’s Xbox business, will replace Zynga’s founder Mark Pincus next week. Most of the package relates to shares he lost in leaving Microsoft. Zynga stock has soared 11 per cent since it said Mattrick would join the company.
