Yellow Pages firm sacks US execs

Hibu, the publisher of the Yellow Pages, has sacked two executives, following suggestions that they were planning a buyout of Yellowbook, Hibu’s US arm. Yellowbook president Jim McCusker and chief publishing officer Mark Cairns were dismissed after conduct “that the company considered to be disloyal and against the interests of its employees and stakeholders” chief executive Mike Pocock told staff in an internal memo.
