Xaar shares peak on record profit

Xaar, the Cambridge-based inkjet technology company, saw shares rise by 12 per cent yesterday as it reported record results and a 33 per cent hike to its dividend. The company, whose technology is used in industries such as ceramic tile printing, said yearly profits were up from £9.1m to £15.7m, while revenues had risen 26 per cent to £86.3m. The company’s share price rose to near 400p, a seven-fold rise on their price three years ago.
