TOTTENHAM manager Andre Villas-Boas insists his team will not miss suspended forward Gareth Bale against Inter Milan tonight and backs them to reach the Europa League quarter-finals.
The Wales star was among the goalscorers in Spurs’ 3-0 win against Inter last week, but a booking for their top scorer means he will miss the return in the San Siro.
Spurs have only lost two of the seven games they have played without Bale this season and Villas-Boas expects his team to cope without the Welshman.
“This team does not need to prove anything,” he said. “We have achieved significant results even without Gareth Bale.”
Forward Clint Dempsey is also missing for Spurs tonight, but winger Aaron Lennon and striker Emmanuel Adebayor have travelled.
