Versarien begins trading on AIM

Shares in Versarien, which develops advanced micro-porous metals for thermal management, started trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) yesterday. The stock listing coincided with a placing of 24.5m shares which raised £3m, giving Versarien an estimated market capitalisation of £10.2m. Versarien said it would use the capital raised to pay for its recent acquisition of Total Carbide as well as to provide working capital.
