TWEETDECK Limited, the popular browsing platform owned by Twitter, has been struck off the register at Companies House and dissolved after failing to file formal accounts.

The US social media company bought Tweetdeck in 2011, in a deal thought to have been worth around £25m. The programme has since been incorporated into Twitter, with the former company lying dormant. Its closure is not thought to have an impact on users or the platform.
