TalkTalk raises most landline complaints

TALKTALK remains the UK’s most complained about landline phone provider, and grievances about the company are back on the rise, data from Ofcom showed yesterday.

Chief executive Dido Harding had overseen four consecutive quarters of declines in the number of complaints about the firm, but criticism of TalkTalk has increased to 0.39 complaints per 1,000 customers in the first quarter of 2013 – almost double the industry average.

EE – which includes Orange – saw the most objections among internet providers, while BT and T-Mobile were the most complained about pay-TV service and mobile network respectively.
