Start-up investor Nic Brisbourne moves to Forward Investment

FORWARD Investment Partners, the venture capital fund of Forward Internet Group, has hired Nic Brisbourne, a well respected venture capital specialist.

Brisbourne joins from DFJ Esprit, where he has been a partner for seven years. He has been working in venture capital since 2000 and has worked in London, Silicon Valley and continental Europe.

He has worked on web, software and media and has been personally responsible for over 25 investments including Buy.AT (acquired by AOL for $125m), Zeus Technology (acquired by Riverbed for $140m), WAYN, Tribold, Conversocial, StrikeAd and Lyst.

Brisbourne is also the author of The Equity Kicker website, one of Europe’s most popular venture capital blogs.

The industry web-site TechCrunch described the hiring of Brisbourne as “quite a coup.”
