St Ives speeds up digital push

PRINTING group St Ives has sped up a push into digital operations by spending up to £24.3m on marketing group Amaze.

The company, best known for publishing and distributing books for clients such as Penguin, is aiming to diversify its revenues by pushing into digital marketing and consultancy services.

Amaze, which is being sold by marketing group Hasgrove, has clients including Coca Cola, Odeon and Unilever. The cash deal is being made up of £15.3m up front, with an extra £9m if Amaze hits certain performance targets.
