Spain knocks IAG traffic again

British Airways parent IAG yesterday posted a 5.6 per cent year-on-year drop in traffic for April, dragged lower by its troubled Iberia division. Revenue passenger kilometres were 0.4 per cent lower at BA and 19.3 per cent down at Iberia. IAG refused to comment yesterday on reports that Bankia, the Spanish bank that holds a 12 per cent stake in the group, had held talks with Qatari investors about possibly selling its holding.
