CONCERT promoter and ticket seller Live Nation Entertainment yesterday announced an increase in first quarter sales as concert events, sponsorship and advertising lifted revenue
Sales rose 6.4 per cent to $923.7m (£597m). However, the company reported a net loss of $63.2m, or 33 cents a share, compared with a loss of $69.2m or 37 cents, in the same period a year ago.
The US-based firm saw an increase of 47.6 per cent in adjusted operating income in the concert division. But the number of total tickets sold dropped 2.6 per cent to 35.7m
