Sage advice makes book a hit
An obscure book about the collapse of the German economy in the 1920s has become a “must read” among financiers after being tipped by Warren Buffett. Buffett, known as the Sage of Omaha, recommended “When Money Dies” written in 1975 by Adam Fergusson, a one-time adviser to Tory minister Lord Howe. Since then copies have sold for up to 1,600 and a new edition is coming.
