CHELSEA manager Jose Mourinho insists a move for unsettled Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is low on his agenda.
Rooney is said to be “angry and confused” by recent comments from manager David Moyes suggesting he would play second fiddle to Robin van Persie this season.
But Mourinho, whose team play the first match of a pre-season tour of Thailand this afternoon, would prefer to assess his current crop before delving into the transfer market.
“I’m so happy with the people I have here that I’m not thinking about other players,” he said.
“The first part of my job is to get the best from these players, try to push the young boys to the levels they can reach and to try to make a real team.”
