Rolls-Royce’s aerospace president steps down

ROLLS-ROYCE today announced that Mark King, the longstanding president of its aerospace division, will resign at the end of June.

He will be replaced by Tony Wood, currently president of the marine unit, who has worked for the British aerospace and defence company for 12 years.

No reason was given for the departure of King, who leaves Rolls-Royce after 27 years.

The FTSE 100-listed firm also announced that trading was in line with expectations and guidance for its full-year results remains unchanged.
