RIT Capital Partners had its second best performance for seven years
Lord Rothschild’s investment fund RIT Capital Partners had its second best performance for seven years last quarter, as its fund hit a record valuation high, it told shareholders yesterday. The fund’s net asset value per share at the end of March stood at 1,344p, a 12.8 per cent increase over the quarter.

The board, which will pay two 14p dividends this year, made the announcement at RIT’s annual meeting yesterday. Rothschild has chaired the fund since it floated on the stock market in 1988.
