A PAIR of private jet companies said yesterday that the market for charter aircraft has been booming.
Air Partner, a broker of private jets that counts the royal family among its clients, said business has been improving over the last two months.
The firm said new work from tour operators and energy firms mean its trading is “significantly ahead of the prior year”.
As a result, the firm said its full-year results are set to be ahead of current market expectations. Its shares rose 7.7 per cent.
Meanwhile Hangar 8, which hires out and manages private jets, said it has enjoyed “significant organic and acquisitive growth” in the year to the end of June.
