Parents push for finance education

Children should learn more about financial planning, according to 77 per cent of mothers responding to an Asda survey. Though most think financial education is an important aspect of education, 80 per cent do not believe that schools have done enough to promote this. Despite the desire for better financial education, 91 per cent of mothers still trusted themselves and their partners to teach their children about how to manage money. Only one per cent suggested that they trusted the government to provide information.
