Award-winning cartoonists Steve Bell, Peter Brookes, Michael Heath and Posy Simmonds, creator of Tamara Drewe, will be in situ to preview the Big Draw’s Battle of the?Cartoonists today on giant easels set up on the top floor of City Hall, overlooking the panorama of London. The Big Draw, organised by the Campaign for Drawing, is a month long festival which takes place every October, aiming to involve everyone in the experience of drawing. London’s Big Draw Festival, 22 and 23 October, includes 40 free activities at 12 venues along the river from London Bridge to Tower Bridge, open to people of all ages.

Running until the end of the weekend in Battersea Park is a fantastic opportunity to check out affordable, potentially brilliant contemporary art of all ilks.?Lectures and art classes accompany the 120 galleries on show.
