IN ASSOCIATION with Repskan.com, City A.M. is measuring the relative Olympic media buzz around the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games partners, week by week. The leaderboard, right, reflects their ranking over the past week, in this case from Wednesday 11 July to Wednesday 18 July.
Adidas has moved up the rankings this week, both as a result of recent advertising and because the uniforms of Olympic volunteers have attracted mention. Less welcome to Adidas, its Oxford Street store was targeted by activists protesting against the pay of factory workers in Cambodia. There has also been attention on controls on the brands of shoes school children can wear at the Olympic opening ceremony.
