FORMER ENRC director Ken Olisa and civil service veteran Suzy Walton are among the new directors appointed to the board of the Institute of Directors yesterday.

Erica Ingham, who is a finance director for several small companies, marketing boss Damon Clark and Chris Walton, a non-executive director at Rockhopper, are also joining the IoD’s board.

“For 110 years our Institute has championed good corporate governance, and these new appointments will help to continue that work,” said director general Simon Walker.

Olisa was a director at ENRC until he was ousted in 2011, a move that prompted him to describe the firm as “more Soviet than City”.
