Oil found in Roxi Petroleum well

Roxi Petroleum’s shares rose more than 7.41 per cent yesterday as the company said it had found signs of oil in one of its wells in Kazakhstan. The interim results from the initial testing of Roxi’s flagship Well 806 indicated the presence of oil, with the full results of the tests expected at some point after the end of May, the Aim-listed firm said in a statement yesterday. Shares in the Kazakhstan-based explorer closed up 3.7 per cent at 3.5p yesterday.
