TRAINER Aidan O’Brien is staying tight-lipped on possible targets for Ruler Of The World after the 7/1 shot’s triumph in Saturday’s Investec Derby at Epsom.

O’Brien would only offer the Irish Derby as a potential goal for the unbeaten three-year-old, who took advantage of favourite Dawn Approach’s erratic run.

“We’d love to go back to the Curragh but he’s still only a baby,” said O’Brien, who celebrated his fourth victory in the Classic. “We’ll talk it over with everyone.”

Jockey Ryan Moore, who rode Ruler Of The World in one of only two previous outings, won by a length and a half from the Elaine Burke-trained Libertarian, with Galileo Rock third.

“I had no option but to go on when I did,” said the former Champion Jockey. “I knew he’d stay well but I got there a bit soon and he was very green. He’ll get further. He’s got a really likeable attitude.”

Dawn Approach took the lead up the hill but faded badly before finishing last.
