No bonus for Johnson Matthey CEO

Johnson Matthey’s chief executive Neil Carson did not receive his bonus this year after missing performance targets, according to the chemicals and metals company’s annual report which was published yesterday. The FTSE 100-listed firm had posted a 13 per cent decline in annual profits due to a disappointing performance in its precious metals division. Carson had received a bonus of £867,000 the previous year, more than his base salary of £768,000. This year his salary rose to £794,000.
