Nike in Lance charity split

SPORTSWEAR behemoth Nike is to stop producing branded products for Livestrong, the cancer foundation established by disgraced former cyclist Lance Armstrong.

The company’s distinctive yellow bracelets helped raise more than $100m for Livestrong during a nine-year relationship.

But Nike dropped Armstrong in October amid far-reaching doping allegations and the American, who was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles, earlier this year admitted using banned substances.
