BRITISH fashion retailer Nicole Farhi today became the latest high street name to collapse into administration, putting 120 jobs at risk.

The chain is being advised by administrator Zolfo Cooper and trading will continue which the administrator tries to sell off all or part of the business.

As City A.M. reported earlier this week, March and April saw a 20 per cent increase in businesses going into administration across England and Wales, according to insolvency specialists FRP Advisory.

DVD rental firm Blockbuster, fashion chain Republic and camera specialist Jessops all collapsed this year.
