New Wall Street sugar daddy for Oxford City club

WALL Street titan Thomas Anthony Guerriero has been named as the new director and president of local football club Oxford City.

Many might be wondering why Guerriero, who is chairman and chief executive of investment advisory firm WMX Group Holdings, would choose the small Oxford club to invest in.

Perhaps he was impressed by the club’s past managers like England footballer Bobby Moore, who took on Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp as his assistant in the Seventies.

But what will football fans make of their new Wall Street sugar daddy?

Commenting on the appointment, Oxford City managing director Colin Taylor said Guerriero would “provide a wealth of new opportunities and enable the club to continue the progress we have made in recent years”.

The Capitalist presumes that wealth is the operative word.
