M&S sells White City site for £100m

Marks and Spencer has agreed to sell its vast warehouse in West London to the developer St James for around £100m over three years, the pair announced today. St James, part of the Berkeley Group, plans to build 4,500 homes and parkland on the 10-acre site in White City, as part of the wider regeneration programme taking place in the area. M&S has agreed to a three-year sale and lease back as it looks for a new premises.
