Moshi sales reach $250m

MIND Candy, the firm behind the Moshi Monsters phenomenon, yesterday gave more indications of its rapid growth, saying total sales of Moshi Monsters products in its five years had hit $250m (£160m).

The online children’s franchise is one of the successes of London’s Tech City, and now has 80m users, almost double the level of two years ago. The figures suggest a period of massive revenue growth, since Mind Candy’s 2011 sales were just £29m.
