Morrisons’ online guru to leave

Scott Weavers-Wright, the former chief executive of baby products site Kiddicare that was bought by Morrisons in 2011, is set to leave the supermarket chain later this year following its tie-up with online grocer Ocado. Weavers-Wright stayed on at the company after the Kiddicare acquisition and was tasked with helping Morrisons to develop their online business. But the group has since struck a 25-year licensing with Ocado, making his role less relevant.
