Morrisons head loses his bonus

MORRISONS boss Dalton Philips missed out on a bonus last year due to missing performance targets.

The grocer’s annual report, released yesterday, revealed that Philips’ pay had fallen by almost 40 per cent in the year to January, due to the firm’s disappointing profits.

His salary was frozen at £850,000 and other benefits took this to £1.09m, compared to £1.78m a year earlier. In the year before, Philips took home a £720,000 reward.
