Moleskine files for Milan listing

Italian notebook maker Moleskine said yesterday it had filed a request with the Italian stock market to list its shares in an initial public offering. The maker of threadbound jotters based on originals favoured by Vincent van Gogh and Ernest Hemingway has already begun marketing the listing, sources said. In a statement Moleskine said its sales rose 17 per cent going into 2012 to reach €78m (£51.6m).
