SEALINE International, the upmarket boat maker, was forced to called in administrators yesterday, leaving the future of the 40-year old company in doubt.

The business, which is based in Kidderminster and employs 300 people, has appointed Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery as joint administrator to handle the process.

Graham Bushby, one of the administrators, said: “Sealine has been an important employer in the area over a number of years. We appreciate that there will be great uncertainty among staff.”
