Elite cycling returns to Smithfield Market on Saturday. Five reasons why you should go

Live sport doesn’t get much more spectacular than watching elite cyclists whiz past your nose, with Smithfield Market offering a unique backdrop – and all by moonlight. It’s not just about the elite riders. Teams from well known Square Mile companies will face off in the IG City Criterium, while there are a host of more quirky contests throughout the evening, including a penny farthing race, a folding bike race and a competition for who can pull the longest skid.
