Lok’nStore stacks up profits

Profits at self-storage group Lok’nStore have increased by almost two thirds in the six months to the end of January, the firm said yesterday.

The group’s pre-tax profits soared to 64.2 per cent to £770,000 and revenues were also up by 2.2 per cent in the same period, hitting £6.55m.

Just over 60 per cent of the group’s self-storage units were occupied in the period, up from a rate of 55.9 per cent in the same period last year.
