Ladbrokes World Hurdle

THE Ladbrokes World Hurdle has a different shape this year. No Big Buck’s means no odds-on favourite, so we’ve got a betting race to relish as the feature of day three at the Festival.

In Inglis Drever and Big Buck’s, the race has provided two multiple winners since we took over the sponsorship nine years ago.

A new name will be added to that roster today and Oscar Whisky is sure to have a favourite’s chance – providing the rain stays away. Narrowly touched off by big market rival Reve De Sivola over this trip in January better conditions should suit Nicky Henderson’s star. The Irish will hope to end a barren run in the race with Solwhit and Zaidpour representing the Emerald Isle with strong vibes coming from across the Irish Sea about the former.

Once again we’ll be offering online and mobile customers their money back as a free bet in the big race if their horse is beaten into second place and, as with every race at the Festival this week, if your horse is agonisingly beaten by less than a length we’ll soften the blow by giving you your money back as a free bet.

There’s no excuse not to join in the excitement of the Ladbrokes World Hurdle as we prepare to crown another staying star at 3.20pm.
