JP Morgan picks new UK investment heads

JP MORGAN has promoted Ina De and Conor Hillery to co-heads of UK investment banking as current boss Laurence Hollingworth takes over industry coverage for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

De, currently the joint head of equity capital markets in EMEA, has been with the firm for more than 20 years.

Hillery, head of the UK financial institutions group and a chartered accountant, joined Cazenove in 2001.

Hollingworth headed up the UK investment bank for just over two years, and will replace Jake Donavan as head of industry coverage.

Upon his departure from the investment bank’s top job, his role will be split between De and Hillery.

The business counts 36 of the FTSE 100 firms among its clients.
