...but house builders suffer torrid quarter

RESIDENTIAL building in England fell 14.5 per cent between January and March against the previous year, data from the Department for Local Government and Communities show.

London recorded the highest rate of newly completed houses in the country, but also saw a larger increase in average rents than any other region in England. And additional data shows Right to Buy sales have increased four fold over the past year, with 2,449 sold in the fourth quarter.
